Exploring at the Beach

Last week we had a lovely day and spent a part of it playing in the sand ... Here are some pictures of Liv exploring the dunes.

And of course, they're a hit. :) i think it's great to watch her practice her "fine motor skills" and not have to worry about the flower petals, scraps of paper & god knows what else she's putting in her mouth! lol

we'll be sure to bring some on the plane, they seem to be a pretty good distraction.

Olivia is learning to "Chase Whitey" or "Spank Whitey" depending on how well you play.Quite the ham at the driving range. Pretty damn good at trying to mess up Dad's back swing.

Playing at the Beach, Yesterday

Yesterday in the late afternoon (before the much too early sunset), we went to the beach. The weather is getting cooler... but still ok for bare feet (especially with the promise of a warm bath after playing in the sand & chasing sea gulls).

The action, that you can't totally see in these still photos, is this happy flapping & bouncing move.
Very funny! Totally joyous.

Earlier in the day we made a trip to Ocean Beach in San Francisco - Whew! Was it windy! and much cooler. But a cool new place to explore.

Recent Hawaii Trip

Jeff's been working at the Honolulu Plant, we all missed being together, so Liv & I flew out for a visit. Here are some pictures from last week.
