Another quiet Christmas at home, where the girls spent all day opening gifts and playing with their new toys. (and even had some gifts under the tree to open the next day!) I would never have imagined such a thing, but is sure is nice!

This Year's Gingerbread Cottage
Another fun gingerbread project!
As usual, we do the baking the day before.
((I tried werther's candies for the windows this year. I'd recommend sticking with the lemon sour balls (or yellow jolly ranchers), the werthers are too much the same color as the gingerbread in the daylight, and too opaque to light up properly in the evening.))
Our friends Lisa and Lauren came over to join us in the decorating fun!
I wish I could share a picture of the 3 little girls sitting under the table eating candy, while I frosted above them... :)
