This is Olivia on Sunday, still at the hospital, happy to be relaxing in Gramma King's loving arms.
Going Home From the Hospital:
We asked for an early release, and got a clean bill of health for Mom and Baby, all our paperwork done, and went home Sunday afternoon! It was a beautiful spring day... What a Start!!
These are Olivia's Grandparents:
Jody & Skip came to visit us at home, too:
She's a wonderful little bundle. She loves to nurse & sleep! Likes to be held and loves to stretch and squirm (mom knew that!!)
"Can we dance with change? Can we fall and try again with playfulness? Do we have the focus, skill and attunement to find the stillpoint within it all?"

Home On The Range
We have been just hanging out at home with Em's parents Jim and Leslie -Ann. Aunt Ann and Aunt Cathy also came over today to see the new addition to the family. I am going to make a run for Monterrey tomorrow. Try to get some work stuff in and charge back home. Having Em's parents around has been a big help. In fact they are making dinner right now and it smells awesome.

Getting Close
Three in the morning and Em just checked in at 7 centimeters. It has been another long night. She is doing well but is very uncomfortable with some other choice words.

Going For It
OK we have made the executive decision. Due to the extended lapse of labor we are starting to induce labor.
Emily is all rested up and looks great.
Hydrated
Em is fully Hydrated now. Unfortunatly the contractions have stopped. The waiting game starts again.
Admitted
Concerns about dehydration have got us a room.
Em is doing OK . Not progressing much though.
I forgot to mention the hospital nurses went on strike last night at midnight. Makes things a bit disorganized.
Rough Night
We decided to wait at home until we are sure we are ready.
Well now seems pretty good. We are off in a few minutes. All 5 of us too not including the little one.

Home Waiting
We are back home. Decided not to camp out at the hospital. Em is at 3 centimeters and vomiting during heavy contractions. I am concerned about dehydration. We will see what happens over the next few hours. Hoping that things progress and we have a baby by morning.
Emily in 1st Stage Labor
Emily was up most of a last night pacing around. Yep, Dad was doing his best sleeping. We are still at home waiting for things to progress a bit more so that we can head over to the hospital.
