She's been interesting in hand-clapping, but hasn't really figured it out on her own until now.

We're busy packing and preparing for our holiday trip to NY! Hopefully the weather is favorable for air-travel. We are so excited about spending Christmas in the Adirondacks with G'ma & G'pa King and Dan & Christina, too!!! YAY!!

As soon as we sat down, Liv scrambled out of my lap & crawled to the center of the circle... I was like, uh, Liv... notice how most the other kids are sitting with their mommies?

Did she take the shaker from somebody, or was it given to her... I missed it...

Missing Dad?

Jeff was at the power plant in Minnesota, I walked in to see Liv with her face stuffed in a ball cap Jeff had given her.

I thought: "aw... she misses Dad... "

then I thought: "nah... she's probably just trying to chew on the embroidery or something. "

But then, upon closer observation...

She was trying to put the cap ON!

I guess I better start getting used to these surprises!

Tante Margit, Uncle Jim & Livvy

Last week, Margit & Jim came to the Bay Area to see Brian perform in La Boheme with the SF Opera. It was a wonderful show! (Liv had a good time with Pablo & Amanda). And we did some sight-seeing the next day! Such a great opportunity to visit; we had beautiful weather, a great hike through town & a terrific dinner!
