Adironack Carousel

We took a fun trip to the new Adirondack Carousel in Saranac Lake. 

 It just opened this spring and all the animals are local critters. And beautifully done!

Lets see if we can remember what we chose to ride on.

Olivia rode: a Bald Eagle, a Loon, a Snowshoe Hare, a Black Fly (twice)

Camila rode: a White-tail Deer, a Salamandar, an Otter, a Snapping Turtle, a Racoon

Emily rode: a Bobcat and a Toad

Wild Center and Play at the Point

 Rainy and windy at the cottage in the morning, we decided to head out to the WILD Center (Adirondack Museum of Natural History) and had a great time, checking out the exhibits and participating in the nature walk (the weather cleared nicely)

The weather has turned a bit cooler and cloudy, but that didn't stop the girls from wanting to go swimming and playing on the inner tube tethered to the dock.

 Cousin Makaela is visiting for a few days this week and what a fun playmate she is!

 Our first days here at the lake have been warm and sunny - amazing & perfect  summer weather. Which means we've been enjoying things like late night dinners outside on the porch in t-shirts and shorts, swimming, and our first boat ride, and lots and lots of outside play and exploring.

Another beautiful day at Cranberry Lake: warm sunny weather.  We found Mickey Mouse dominoes at the consignment shop, and played on the dock!

 Had a nice nap. :)
