Off on an adventure! We took a canoe ride to the beach at the state park.

On the way back Liv said that she hoped that Grammy saved some work for her.

What luck! We got back just in time to help spread the shredded branches.

Olivia's Adventure

Beside becoming an expert tree-climber, Olivia is off on her first sleep-over.

Grammy headed to Owego -- down today, back tomorrow -- and invited Liv join her. Olivia was excited about the idea and started packing right away! 

Sissy wished her "bon voyage" have a good trip & bye-bye! 

"Bye! See you tomorrow!"

"Bye, Mom. I love you."

Gotta admit, Mom shed a tear or two.

Boating Fun at Cranberry Lake

 We had some exceptionally nice weather over the Labor Day weekend and got a chance to go tubing!

Liv and I had a blast!!

Evie wanted to go for a ride, too! 

Sweet and pretty Violet!

We also took a couple of fun canoe rides out to explore Dog Island. 

ps/ do I need to admit to how sore my arms were the next day(s)?

Parkers Visit Cranberry Lake

Uncle Mike, Auntie Lynn, Cousins Violet, and Evie came to visit over the Labor Day weekend! We explored, giggled, cuddled, played. We learned and loved, shared and discovered.

We took a trip to the WILD Center and played in the clearing! 

And discovered all kinds of things inside, too!

We enjoyed a couple campfires. Lovely!  

 

And swimming!

 

And climbing higher than ever before! 

Evie passed the swim test and now, she doesn't have to wear a life jacket on the dock any more!

 We enjoyed a fundraising dinner and event at the local volunteer fire department including a bounce house and chicken dinner, raffles and music.

A trip to the ice-cream shop to celebrate our accomplishments (hiking bear mountain, passing the swim test, climbing higher than ever before) and just to celebrate summer!  

We had so many fun cuddles and hugs!
