Liv has loved being doorman for us; but the handle was way over her head, and the door threatened to pinch her fingers when it sprung shut. Her loving, indulgent grandfather helped her install a handle at just Livvie-Height!

Off on a Hike
I was determined to try this! And we did it!
Ok, we didn't summit -- but we hiked to the lean-to on Bear Mtn.
Liv helped spot the "red circle" trail markers, and provided a constant commentary on what we were seeing and hearing in the forest. A fun hike.
These pictures are from setting out from the cottage, I was remarkably sweatier when we got back.

Sand Island

Liv found a marble in the water!! really.
she'd throw it back in the lake and then find it again, or bury it in the sand and search for it.
