Summer 2017

We spent the first half of summer in Hawaii.

We've come a long way and  learned a lot about playing in and on the ocean.

Had a pretty epic fathers day on our sweet Kaimana

And joy of joys, our BFFs from California came to visit!
We played and played and enjoyed every minute of their company.

July came and we hit the sky!
Off to the Adirondack Mountains and our Grammy & Grampy.

Camila loves to go fishing.

This is the view from Olivia's favorite spot.

Cat mountain hike with Jack and Francesca

And another fun filled week with the Stolzenberg family and all these adventure-loving big kids.

my favorite gap-tooth smile

missing my mate at the Bear mountain lookout
where he proposed our marriage 27 years before.

And the very best part of every summer:
sharing love and family time
with these wonderful humans!

One of this summer's lessons was about being connected to people in lots of different places.
We had California friends visit us in June
and NYS cousins in August.
We love sharing our time at the lake house with family and friends.
AND spent time with our first Hawai'i friends
at the Sciencenter in Ithaca, NY

And we were rescued by old Costa Rica/kiteboarding friends
when I missed our flight in Boston

I love that O & C are experiencing this connectedness.

So after a fun summer in "new england" we are back to our endless summer in our new home.

August had the kids starting 1st grade at Ewa Beach and 3rd grade at "HTA" (a home/charter school : that experiment only lasted one quarter.)

The girls are developing some good friendships

Jeff is getting some water-time.

Our long weekends are dream-vacations

Six year olds are fabulously goofy.

They are turning into big kids right in front of my eyes.
