And here she is enjoying a cruise in the new Stroller! She loves it!! (So do I!) Today was our first day out with the stroller. She was so into looking around while we cruised over to the grocery.

one month old and lots of new pics

April 22 Olivia was one month old!!

We went to the dr for the 4-week check-up. She's healthy, every thing's normal --- except she's a little under weight. except for that... all is well. she's growing stronger and longer - just not fatter, yet! :)


Here she is mesmerized by the ceiling fan at the bed and breakfast we stayed at in Oroville last week.

Jeff was there on business for Covanta - we tagged along! so we could hang out at lunch time and evenings! It was great!

Olivia and I went for walks along the river... this was Mom's view of Olivia in the Bjorn carrier.
She's got wicked baby acne - which drives Jeff & me nuts but doesn't seem to phase Olivia at all! :)


Olivia is more alert than ever, following objects & people with her eyes and head, she's started reaching occasionally ... (Daddy helped her grab the handle here) :)


Her eyes are still quite blue! Looks like its going to stick!


With a full belly she likes hanging out in her chair and playing with the animals. (I am trying to upload a video for you all!)


We also LOVE bath-time! whether it's in the baby tub, big people tub, or shower... love it all!!


But number one favorite activity is hanging out on the Boob! And we're on dr's order to feed, feed, feed! Here, Mom's sneaking in a nap - Jeff's taught us all about multi-tasking!


And lest you think it's all rosy... she'll definitely let you know when it's not!!

Olivia Watching Ma & Pa eat Pot Stickers

She has been have big days. Went to the Marina today to watch Pa park the jet skis. She is getting all amped up to teach kiteboarding lessons next year. Tonight she got to watch us feast on Pot Stickers while she stared off into Olivia land.

Sleeping Baby

Olivia's favorite place to snooze is on Mama... of course! And I can't say I mind it. Though I suppose it can't go on forever... I do love cuddling with her!! and am enjoying the newborn period where you can't spoil Baby!!




And for all the same reasons we love our Bjorn!! Hands-Free Snuggling! We go for walks, do the dishes, answer emails... all kinds of good stuff!


Olivia even came to the dentist with me yesterday and they were happy to let her stay on my chest in the Bjorn during the cleaning & exam!! she was a total angel and slept through the whole thing. Then we went to the library and the farmers market! Pretty good morning!! we even went to the shop for an hour or so of "work" What a DAY!

OLIVIA is 2 weeks old!

So... 2 weeks ago this precious little peanut came into our lives ... we promised to love her and feed and shelter her and do our best at anything else that comes up...

so far so good.


jeff was sure that with those long-fingered hands she could probably palm a golf ball... we're still working on getting her to play along while she's awake... ;)


speaking of which... she can wake up kinda rough (i wonder who she acquired that trait from?? momma, maybe??)

We've had several visits from friends and family and unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everyone ... but here are some of our dear friends who wish us well ...

Olivia is a very calm (except when she's hungry) and absolutely absorbing presence in our lives. We are totally infatuated!




Olivia's First Dr's Visit.

She weighed in at 8 lb 5 oz and 21 inches. Dr Mary says she's doing GREAT and should keep eating as much as Mom will let her! :) (which is whenever she wants...Mom is a push-over)

She didn't fuss at all during any of the exams! What a happy baby.
